Arrangements for FF Walter P. Harris, Detroit Fire Department
Arrangements for FF Walter P. Harris, Detroit Fire Department, who died at house fire on Saturday morning. From The Detroit Free Press:
A visitation is to be held from 4:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday at Community Christian Fellowship, 8131 E. Outer Drive, Detroit, MI, 48213, (313) 245-2925.
The funeral is scheduled for 10 AM Friday at Second Ebenezer Church, 14601 Dequindre Street, Detroit, MI, 48212, (313) 867-4700.
Expressions of sympathy or condolences can be sent to Local 344 at 243 W. Congress Street, Suite 644, Detroit, MI, 48226-3284.

Our hearts goes out to the family of Walter. It hurts to loose a loved one, but to loose them so young and so tragically really touches you. The entire fire department is in our hearts and prayers and especially the family. Walter worked with Detroit's bravest and he will be remembered as just that. A brave man who gave his life for the city he loved.
