Quick takes

The latest on Kentland: STATter 911 has learned that Kentland VFD has suspended Chief Tony Kelleher. Kelleher was one of those seen in the videos that recently surfaced. The videos are more than four-years-old. Click here to read the latest developments and read Kentland's statement issued Sunday night.

Unlike other public incidents involving Kentland in recent years, this is the first time Kentland VFD has taken action. The question now is will Prince George's County Fire/EMS Chief Lawrence Sedgwick see it as enough punishment to fit the crime.

Routley blasts Kentland: Chief Sedgwick calls the videos "disturbing" and "unprofessional". Kentland VFD even calls the actions on the videos "inexcusable". Chief Gordon Routley goes quite a bit further in a brief, but very direct assessment of Kentland. Click here.

Video roundup: Click here to see some of the latest videos we have found.

City now has a Few stations: They are closing firehouses in Atlanta and in his old department in East Point, GA, but Demopolis, AL Chief Ron Few is bucking the trend and opened one. That would be Fire Station 3. Ron Few (we knew him as Ronnie) is a former chief of the DC Fire & EMS Department. Click here for the story.

Comments:
Wow! is that a Prince George's County Fire and EMS Official or PG Police Officer in the back ground (look closely)? I guess they are just as guilty if at all! Let ‘s see PGFD explain this. If you ever have been at Kentland you would know the police are always hanging around. They obviously didn't have a problem with what happen. Just everyone who is a arm chair firefighter wannabe. Live by the sword die by the sword

PGFD paid-maids have always been Kentland haters! You guys wish you had half the drive and knowledge as 33's guys!!! Now you make Tony the fall guy!!! Wow...things in PG are more screwed up than ever!!!
