Weather Talk with Tony Pann

  Saturday Morning 5/17
Looks like a nice start to the weekend. If you're going to Baltimore for the big race, the weather should be fine. There will be a weak wind shift line, or surface trof, that will be coming through Tonight with a slight chance for a few showers....it will be no big deal. However, a stronger system will approach from the West on Sunday. This will bring in a better chance for showers and possibly a t-storm. A fairly cool air mass will move in behind the storm for the start of the work week. Highs will only be in the 60s and Overnight Lows will be in the 40s. Another piece of energy will ride in along the dip in the jet stream over the East Coast on Tuesday. This will bring us another chance for showers. In the longer range, I do see a flip to a summer weather pattern next weekend...more on that next week.
