Monday's Reek!!

Okay, I'll be honest. I've got nothin to write about except the fact that I was really hoping to do the news from my basement today.

Its just one of those kinda days. I just heard the voice of Tony the Scheduler lamenting in the background "So Phyllis has nothing? " She's working on a story on hybrid sales. Problem is nobody's out shopping for cars on a Monday in the monsoon.

My producer April just confided in me that she could really use a nap. Not a bad idea, but would any of us wake up before 5? Or 7, for that matter?
Oh yeah, its one of those days in which passion is dampened by ennui, in which apathy saps curiosity, and a story on the stormy weather leads the 5 oclock news.
On the other hand, I am really wondering how they got that baby to do that.

1 Comments:
I have to admit I needed to look up ennui
Main Entry: en·nui
Pronunciation: \ˌän-ˈwē\
Function: noun
Etymology: French, from Old French enui annoyance, from enuier to vex, from Late Latin inodiare to make loathsome — more at annoy
Just one of those words that you don't use "everyday" but love to see in text if only to improve vocabulary.
But yeah changing seasons mean unstable weather and that means precip. At least you get to sleep in, poor Andrea never gets a day off (it seems), where Mike and Kim appear and disappear in random spurts.
LOL go ahead and complain!
(you people have it made)
Oh, and that baby reminds me of myself staring at a blank page; wondering just how to begin describing what I want to say on my own blog.
Just a mess of thoughts I cannot put into words, but has a wealth of meaning, and how to get it across is killing me!
Tine is not an enemy for me... thankfully.
