Thursday Morning 3/20 Happy Spring! The Equinox took place at 1:48 this Morning. It should be a windy and dry day Today...on the chilly side as well. The winds could gust up to 40 MPH. High pressure takes control on Friday, with sunshine and temps in the 50s. Our next weather-maker will be a wave in the southern branch of the jet to come through on Saturday. It looks like the surface Low will pass through the Mountains into Central MD. With that track, it won't be able to pull much cold air in here, so the precip will be mostly rain for the Metro Area. I can't rule out some snow mixing in, especially near the PA line, but it's tough to make it snow this time of the year. Right now, it looks like Easter Sunday will be cool and dry. Several of the long range computer models still hinting at a coastal storm for Monday next week....it could be interesting....stay tuned!  ¶ 8:29 AM
