Wed Afternoon Update 2PM The threat for severe weather has diminished around the Metro Area for This Evening. There is just too much cloud cover and the light showers we've had Today have stabilized the atmosphere a little. The dynamics still look impressive as the front comes through, so there could be a period of heavy rain and gusty winds in the storms Overnight. There could be a few gusts over 50 MPH in the squall line right along the front itself....that will pass through by 2 AM. Breezy & colder conditions expected for Thursday.  ¶ 2:10 PM
