  Sunday Morning 2/24
High pressure will be in control of the weather through Monday. However, there is one interesting little storm in the Southern branch of the jet that we'll have to keep an eye on for late this afternoon and tonight. The High should squash it to the South into North Carolina, but the NAM and GFS are actually producing measurable snow here in DC overnight. For now, I'll just say we'll have a chance for flurries....I will update later today if it looks like it will be more of a snow event. Our next chance for rain or snow will be on Tuesday. This storm I think will take a more West to East track than what is being shown on the computer models right now. So, instead of cutting up the spine of the Appalachians like most of the storms this winter, I think this one will move across Southern PA or Northern MD. If that track holds, the temps will be cold enough for a mix of rain and snow. We'll talk more about this one on Monday.
