Saturday Morning 2/9 The arctic express is on the way! A big storm will roll into the Great Lakes Today...it will send a series of fronts though here over the weekend. The first will come in This Evening...there could be a few rain or snow showers Today and Tonight. The upper level temps are cold enough to support snow showers, but the boundary layer will be fairly warm. So, if we do see some precip Today, it will be mixed. The last front will come though on Sunday Morning...this will release the arctic hounds! I think there could be a brief period of heavy snow showers as the front comes in...maybe a dusting in some spots. The winds will kick up and gust over 30 MPH and the temps will be falling all day. We might start in the 30s, but it should fall into the 20s by Evening with wind chills between 0 and 10 degrees!
