  Monday Morning 2/11
The big wind is gone, but left in it's wake is a very cold start to the work week. We'll have plenty of sunshine Today, but the temps will have a hard time getting to 30 This Afternoon. Now, we have to focus our attention on Tuesday. A warm front will be approaching from the South during the day...overrunning precip should break out sometime late Tuesday Morning. The question is: What kind of precip? The arctic air will be hard to move...in addition, the air should be fairly dry so any precip that falls, at the start, will cause some evaporative cooling. I think it will initially start as a mix of snow and sleet...there could even be a small accumulation. After that, the warm air will work in aloft then gradually make it down to the surface. In the process, there could even be a period of freezing rain in the Northern Suburbs. By Tuesday Night, it should be warm enough for a pure rain everywhere. An area of low pressure will ride up the I-95 corridor on Wednesday with a good chance for rain.
