Is Your Iced Tea Killing You?
Then finally at 11 an answer: NO.
It was a bit of exageration, but only a bit. And everyone does it...from CNN and the networks on down to your local news station. The philosophical argument goes 
something like this: You like news that affects your life--so what better to get you to watch then warn you about some (often fairly marginal) danger that just might hurt you...or even more horrible(yet fascinating) your children?
The problem is not that the dangers aren't real--they pretty much are, with just a few exceptions. Its that we've fed into this idea that not only is the world a really, really dangerous place, but that you can avoid most of the danger if only you take the proper precautions--with little discussion of whether the effort involved is justified by the actual risk.
It is just confusing. Will my cell phone cause brain cancer? Who knows? What about those non-stick pans? I love to cook mean on the grill--uh oh!! Ironically, only in a rich and relatively safe country like ours do we have the luxury of worrying about such things.
You think in Afghanistan everyone is getting rid of their aluminum pots or spending thousands at the mall for a whole body CT scan? Me neither.
But keep watching us. After all, we wouldn't want anything to happen you......

I hadn't noticed or maybe I'm numb to it all.
Plenty scares me though, you've seen some of them in the mailbag over the years. I guess I'm more scared for others than I am for myself. Meaning current and future generations.
Kim did a piece in her blog about the cruelty that exists in the meat processing industry, slaughtering unfit cattle. (its been happening for decades).
All sorts of dangers exist in sock drawers and green tea. Mainly because Alfred E. Newman is the CEO of Greed Inc.
One thing that scares me though, and Katie did a special the other night about it. It was about the medical advances we are now seeing "in the pipes". Its all good news but poses very serious problems for the future (good problems).
Caring for generations and life expectancies that may double in the next 50 years. We've seen small increases already and that itself is a problem, but think of it... 50-100 years from now? (food, shelter, the basics)
Yeah I'm scared, but its "not my problem". I'll be gone by then (hopefully).

Hello Derek..I totally agree with you here..We humans are outsmarting ourselves here..
Heres something else to WORRY about...
Is Earth being monitered,
By the goverment or who or what.
Well here is one subject to look in to .
I have spoken to many of my friends and strangers also on this subject.
The conversation starts off like this as follows .
I ask this question …Do you ever get dot dot , dot , dot , dot buzzing like static sound through
your computer or TV or CB radio or regular radio or ect.
Like old time mores code through your speakers.
If so read on to what else , I am going tell you an friend told me one Sunday he experanced the same thing and he told me a wild story about a friend of his that had a computer apart and took the hard drive out and it did the same think when he laid it on the table , I believe that it was still electrically charged when that happen but, I cannot prove it.
I have been monitoring this interference for quite some time even when my wife and I when on trips and I notice it happened over 50 to 100 miles away from my house and I noticed that other people that running electronic devices having the same issue with this same interference .
This started a about three years ago and I first thought it was the cell phones and towers ect.
But I found out it was not that.
Well as I talked to a friend in church one Sunday he said the same thing and we both agree that we are being scanned or monitored and he thinks it might be with micro waves,
I think it might be two things a hyper alien speed communications or some sort of other scanning system , but not microwave, I believe microwave interference dose not cause this type of interference in communications on earth
I believe we are being visited and what ever this type of interference is,it is alien in nature and soon we will learn the truth on what is coming.
What are your views Are you have this same dot, dot, dot dot, buzzing like sound on your computer and radio and TV speakers.
Or do you think like,I do,I am going nuts.
I really believe something is going on and no one sees it.
How about You? what are your views on all of this.
Are you having the same thing happening you.
Lets here what you know about this suject.
I believe communication are being interfeared for a brief few seconds and know one is paying attention to what is going on.
