Winds Calm Down The winds should die down as we move into this evening....high pressure will take control of the weather on Tuesday. A weak clipper storm will pass to our North on Wednesday producing a few clouds, but no precipitation. After that, a short wave in the Southern Branch of the Jet Stream will approach from the West on Thursday. We'll likely see a few showers late in the day. At this point, it does not look like it will phase with the Northern Branch, so there might not be enough cold air to make snow. It will pass on Friday. Maybe we'll start to see more phasing on future model runs, but right now, it looks like a cold rain event at the end of the week.
