Clipper Forecast on Track Looks like our clipper is on schedule....I expect a general 1" to 3" across the area. There could be some higher amounts, 4" or more possible in the Mountains. If this forecast is going to bust, it will be too low....the storm looks healthy. The track of the Surface Low should go through central VA, so the heaviest bands will be around the North side of the Low Center. I have checked all of the thickness parameters again this morning and they still point to a pure snow event...even for the Southern Suburbs. In the I-95 Corridor, the temps could stay near or below freezing all day, so the snow will stick to all surfaces. I will update later Today if I see any changes.
