Clearing Up Today What a fantastic rain event! Other than having a tropical system come through, there could not have been a better set up for a drought busting rain. We will end up with 2" to 4", on average, across the area going back to Wednesday. This will not make up the entire deficit for the year, but it will help. The weather should be dry this afternoon, but a cold front will come through Tonight and that will bring a slight chance for a shower. High pressure will take control on Sunday & Monday...that means dry conditions and cool temps. We could see our first frost of the season away from the city Sunday Night!  ¶ 5:52 AM
