Jilted Lover is Fired!

The woman who made her way into DC School headquarters after hours last week was fired on Friday. Her name is D'Wanna Lee and she works as a Special Assistant to Victor Reinoso, Mayor Fenty's Deputy Mayor for Education.

Reinoso needs this bit of bad news like he needs another hole in his head. You may recall that DC Council Chairman Vincent Gray held up his confirmation--practically making the former School Board member-audition for the job over the rest of the summer.

This after Reinoso refused to tell a Council hearing who in the administration plagiarized a report on the Mayor's school reform plan. Reinoso says he was acting on the advice of counsel. Gray told this reporter afterwards he's not even sure the City needs a Deputy Mayor for education. All this in the same week that Reinoso was robbed at gunpoint near his home in Takoma Park.

As reported first on this blog yesterday Ms Lee was caught on surveillance cameras posting nude pictures of a man in places throughout the building where other staff could see them. School security staff were collecting the pictures as evidence. The man on display is a building maintenance man working for a private contractor.
