Bowie State to host 1st ever playoff game

For the first time ever, Bowie State will host a playoff game against Delta State University.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Bowie State football will host their first ever playoff game on Saturday against Delta State.

The Bulldogs are led by Quarterback Amir Hall. Hall leads the nation in touchdown passes and ranks third in passing yards.

Bowie State is loaded with a very talented team.

The school placed a conference-high 10 players on the ALL-CIAA first team.

Darren Haynes caught up with the Bowie State Quarterback to talk about how excited the team is for Saturday’s game and who inspires him to be great.

Hall wants to be a sports broadcaster.

He put him to the test to make the highlight call on one of his own plays.

Darren Haynes tried to catch one of his passes and failed miserably.

“You should stick to broadcasting,” Hall told Haynes.

We couldn't agree more.
