WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -  A cold front is moving in from the west and has triggered another round of showers and T-storms. Severe storms around Winchester produced a funnel cloud shortly after 5:00 PM. We have numerous reports of hail from Strasburg, VA to Berkeley Springs, WV. 

Storms producing heavy rain continue to hammer upper Montgomery County and in Howard county. Flash Flood Warning continue in those counties until 9:30 pm. Remember never cross a flooded street by foot or by car. The strong storms will give way to showers well before midnight.
 
On Friday, we will see some late clearing with spotty showers that taper off Friday afternoon. The Memorial Day weekend looks rather brisk. Highs will struggle to reach seventy Saturday with lows in the forties in the suburbs Friday and Saturday night.

The Moore, OK tornado has now been classified an EF-5 tornado with winds of 210 mph.
