WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - The atmosphere is very unstable this evening and big T-storms developing well west of Town. Some of the storms could be heavy, especially north and west of Town. More storms are likely on Thursday as a strong cold front moves approaches the Metro Area. Those showers and storms will be tapering off Friday morning and then we will be in great shape for the memorial Day Weekend.

The Moore, OK tornado has now been classified an EF-5 tornado with winds of 210 mph.
