(WUSA) -- Holy Curse Words! The most recent All Star Batman comic book has been ordered destroyed by parent company DC Comics for foul langauge.
All-Star Batman & Robin the Boy Wonder #10 by Frank Miller and Jim Lee was due to go on sale this week, but a printing error forced DC Comics to ask all retailers in the east and mid-west to destroy their copies.
There was supposed to be a black box to shield out offensive words spoken by the criminals and even Batgirl.
A printing error occurred when the black box was printed lighter than the curse words. The result was some of the most colorful language spoken by a member of the Bat-family or the criminals they fight.
While the majority of readers will never read this particular edition, some of the offensive books have made their way to the internet auction site, E-bay with low bids starting out at $15.00 and higher bids of $102.00.
DC Comics will be publishing a "sanitized" edition of the same comic later this month.
