SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA9) -- One person was injured in a house fire Christmas morning in Montgomery County.
Officials were on scene at a two-story single family home on Narrows Court in Silver Spring, Md. for a fire on the first floor, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Asst. Chief Scott Graham said.
Graham said officials were called at 8:14 a.m.
One person was taken to a local hospital with burn injuries, he said. The injuries are considered non-life threatening. Two firefighters also suffered minor burns.
The house is considered uninhabitable with $750,000 worth of damage, Graham said. Five people were displaced.
