WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police are investigating three shootings that occurred Monday night shootings.
The first shooting happened at 9:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of U Street SE, say police. A man was shot in the stomach. He was conscious when he was transported to the hospital, according to police. They do not have a suspect in the shooting.
At approximately 10:43 p.m. another man was shot in the leg in the 1600 block of Levis Street NE. He was also conscious when transported to the hospital and no suspect has been identified at this time.
The third shooting was fatal. A 26-year-old man was found shot in the chest and abdomen outside the 1900 block of 17th Street SE at 10:50 p.m., say police. He was transported to a hospital and later died.
Police later identified the man as Anthony Robinson of Southeast.
Police say they have classified the shooting as a homicide. They are waiting for the results of an autopsy to determine a cause and manner of death.
They issued a lookout for a gray sedan with dark tinted windows.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide in D.C.. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099.
