(WUSA9) --- We're bringing you the latest news making a buzz on the Affordable Care Act.

1. President Obama makes headlines as he defends the healthcare law in front of a crowd in New Orleans.

He also said once the problems are fixed, critics may change their tune.

2. CBS News: Most uninsured are ignoring the Obamacare marketplace, polls show

The latest Gallup Poll indicate just 18% of uninsured Americans have attempted to log onto a healthcare exchange website since the start of Obamacare.

Also, only 22% of uninsured Americans say they plan to get health insurance through the new healthcare marketplace.

3. Politico: Only 5 enrollments completed in D.C. Obamacare exchange

Senators Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) tried to collect enrollment data from four participating insurance companies.

In the District: 
    i. Two people completed enrollment and paid their first month's premiums for CareFirst Blue Shield plans.

    ii. Three people have fully signed up for Kaiser Permanente plans.

But take note: Out of the four insurance companies the lawmakers asked for information, only two companies had the enrollment numbers.
