ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Montgomery County police have located an elderly man who suffers from dementia and had been missing from Rockville.
Stanley Lee Fries, 83, was located safe and unharmed in D.C., police said.
Before Fries went missing, he had last been seen Thursday at approximately 1:00 p.m. at the Hershey's Restaurant in Gaithersburg.
Police describe Fries as a white male, 5'9" tall, and weighing approximately 140 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a light colored khaki jacket, khaki pants, and an unknown color tweed hat. He was last seen driving a brown, 2003 Ford Crown Victoria with Maryland tags: VBR257.
The Silver Alert has been cancelled regarding Fries' disappearance.
