BIG POOL, Md. (WUSA9) -- Maryland State Police say a semi-truck driver is to blame for a collision with another semi-truck on I-70 East in Big Pool on Friday morning.
According to police, 23-year-old Jesse Lee Long's semi-truck with trailer was traveling in the left lane at 1:08 a.m. when he drifted partially into the right lane and hit another semi-truck. Police say Long then lost control of the truck and it traveled onto the right shoulder where it hit a grassy embankment. The other truck stopped just behind Long's truck and partially blocked the right lane, accoridng to police.
Police say that neither driver was injured.
Long has been charged with negiglent driving in the accident.
The road was partially closed for 3 hours while the trucks were removed from the scene.
