(WUSA9) --- Households using natural gas to heat their homes will pay 13% more than last year or an average of $679, according to the federal government.
Homeowners using electricity for heat will likely pay 2% more or about $18 more.
Meanwhile, homes using heating oil may see a drop in the bill by 2%. The bill may come to an average of about $2,046.
