NOKESVILLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- After an acquaintance reported bizarre behavior to police, a man and woman now face multiple charges.
According to police, early Sunday morning a man reported that he and another friend were at the home of Michael Mansour in the 10300 block of Reid Ln when Mansour, began to act disorderly. The victim told police Mansour ordered everyone to leave his home. The victim told police as he was walking down the driveway, he heard what sounded like a gunshot come from the front of the house.
Police say the victim contacted police about the incident from his own home.
An officer went to speak to Mansour, say police, but during their conversation Mansour lunged at the officer. The officer was hit in the upper body area, but not injured, according to police.
Officers also discovered a marijuana grow operation at the home, say police. A search warrant was executed and officers recovered marijuana, syringes, multiple handguns, and other property, according to police.
Mansour and a woman who lives with him, Dionne Zilleruelo, were arrested, say police.
Mansour is charged with assault and battery on law enforcement officer, manufacturing marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm with narcotics. Police say he is being held without bond.
Zilleruelo is charged with manufacturing marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm with narcotics. Her bond was set at $5,000.
Police say they are still investigating the reported shooting.
