THURMONT, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation wants to know who caused damage to Loys Station Covered Bridge at 3600 Old Frederick Road in Thurmont, Md. on Tuesday.
Authorities say the bridge was damaged between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Tuesday. They say it appears that a large vehicle or a piece of equipment entered the bridge and struck the support, ripping it out of the beam.
