WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The DC Police Officer who suffered gunshot wounds to his legs has been released from the hospital, MedStar Washington Hospital Center reports.
Officer Scott Williams, was among three victims that were being treated at the hospital after suffering gunshot wounds during the Washington Navy Yard shooting.
On Sept. 16, Navy contractor Aaron Alexis, 34, assembled a shotgun in a men's room and killed 12 people before he was fatally shot in a gunfight with law enforcement at the Navy Yard.
A total of eight people were injured, three were hospitalized and treated at MedStar. All have since been released.
