(WUSA9) -- The roads are under water after a water main break in the 8900 block of Rhode Island on Friday afternoon, say officials in Prince George's County, Md.
According to fire spokesperson Mark Brady, a WSSC contractor has shut down the 10-inch water main. He says water is receding from the area and officials hope to have roads re-opened soon.
Only one lane of Rhode Island Avenue is still closed and officials believe it will not cause much of a traffic issue. They hope to get all the repairs done by the end of the weekend.
