PASADENA, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County police say Metro Crime Stoppers have raised the reward amount for information about an April hit-and-run crash to $10,000.
On April 12 at approximately 9:25 p.m., police found three juveniles on the westbound side of the road at Mountain Road near Alvin Drive. One female and one male juvenile were seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle. The male juvenile, Skylar Marion, was transported to the Shock Trauma Unit at the University of Maryland Hospital where he later died.
The third juvenile, also a female, was uninjured, according to police.
The vehicle that struck the juveniles fled the scene. Police believe it was a 1997-2002 Ford Expedition. According to their investigation, the Expedition was traveling westbound and continued west on Mountain Rd. after hitting the juveniles. The Expedition suffered damage to the passenger side headlight and turn light assembly, which was broken out, and should have noticeable damage to that area of the vehicle to include the hood, and passenger side front quarter panel, according to police.
Police are still looking for the suspect vehicle or its driver. If you have information please call 1-866-7LOCKUP or text "MCS" plus your message to CRIMES (274637)
