Alexandra Barnes charged with Trespass and Assault in St Mary's County
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office authorities say a man was arrested on Saturday after he was asked to leave Millson Plaza but he returned with a knife.
According to authorities, members of the Lexington Park COPS Unit saw 56-year-old Alexandra Spencer Barnes of Lexington Park loitering in Millison Plaza. They say he "was exhibiting signs of alcohol impairment" was issued a notice not to trespass. Ten minutes later, however, he came back to the area, say authorities. This time, Barnes had an open box cutter-style knife, and approached an officer, according to authorities.
Authorities say Barnes was ordered at gunpoint to drop the knife, and he did. Barnes was then arrested and charged with Trespass and Assault.
