Troy Robinson, Carlos Parks charged with second degree murder in death of Tywayne Thompson in DC

WASHINGTON (WUSA9)  - Two suspects have been charged with second degree murder for a shooting in the 700 block of 12th Street, SE in DC, say police.

On Friday, 18-year-old Troy Quentin Robinson of Southeast, DC was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for second degree murder while armed in connection with the death of Tywayne Thompson, according to police.

On September 3, a second suspect, Carlos Parks 17 of Southeast was charged with Murder Two in connection with the murder of Thompson.

Thompson, who was 25 years old and also from Southeast, DC, was found suffering from gunshot wounds on June 24. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
