Pipe bomb explodes in Leesburg, Va., information sought

LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA9) -- Loudoun County fire officials need your help finding information about a pipe bomb that exploded Tuesday night.

It happened on a golf course near the area of Olympic Boulevard and Kings Mill Street in the River Creek Community at around 9:48 p.m., officials said. 

"Fire Marshal Investigators would like to hear from anyone that saw anyone suspicious in the area around the time of the explosion or anyone who has any information regarding the incident or the person(s) responsible for the explosion," officials said in a news release.
