Woman sexually assaulted near Anacostia Metro Station

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police say a woman was sexually assaulted near the Anacostia Metro Station on Sunday morning.

At approximately 3:00 a.m., the female victim was walking in the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Southeast D.C. when an unknown man forced her into a residence and sexually assaulted her, officials said.

The suspect is described as a black male, 46-years-old, short hair cut, medium complexion, with a medium build and clean shaven.
