SOUTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A South Miami man appeared before a judge at bond court Friday after confessing to killing his wife during an argument and posting a picture of her dead body on his Facebook page.
Derek Medina, 31, the man who allegedly killed his wife and posted a photo along with a confession on Facebook before turning himself into police, appeared in bond court Friday afternoon before Judge Maria Elena Verde.
Medina, being charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife Jennifer Alfonso, wore a black protective vest reserved for psychiatric inmates and those on suicide watch.
Medina, denied bond, is being held on the 9th floor and is set to appear before Judge Teresa Pooler in 21-days.

The woman's left arm is covered in blood and blood appears on her face as well.

"I'm going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife love you guys miss you guys take care Facebook people you will see me in the news" my wife was punching me and I am not going to stand anymore with the abuse so I did what I did I hope you understand me."
