(WUSA9) -- The Kevin Durant Charity Foundation says Kevin Durant will award $150,000 to three Prince George's County organizations next month.
The NBA star will give the Seat Pleasant Activity Center, the Maryland Jaguars Youth Organization and the Community Kinship Coalition Inc. on July 1 at the Seat Pleasant Activity Center.
According to the foundation, these organizations were chosen because they were "pivotal in his life." The donations will help enrich the lives of at-risk children ages 6 - 18 through educational, athletic and social program support, according to the foundation.
