Body of Ngo Tekwe Forchick of Takoma Park, Md. Recovered From Water After Swimming Incident

(WUSA9) -- Police say Montgomery County Fire & Rescue recovered the body of a 19-year-old man in the water at Purple Horse Beach on Wednesday morning.

According to police, the body of Ngo Tekwe Forchick of Takoma Park, Md. was recovered at 9:15 a.m.

Authorities first started looking for Forchick on Monday at approximately 1:51 p.m. Montgomery County Fire & Rescue received a call for a possible drowning at Purple Horse Beach, and the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue began a rescue mission. Montgomery County Police search and rescue officers provided assistance on land, say police.

The investigation so far revealed that the Forchick was swimming with friends when they noticed him go under the water and not resurface, say police.
