WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A D.C. man plead guilty to sexually abusing his stepdaughter, police said.
The 47-year-old man, whose name is not being released to protect the privacy of the victim, sexually abused the victim when she was 14, causing her to get pregnant, police said.
The man told the victim to say that the baby's father was a boy from school, police said.
The victim said the sexual assault began in 2010, police said.
The man is the ex-husband of the victim's mother.
He also plead guilty to sending letters and making phone calls in violation of court orders, unlawful entry and assaulting a police officer, police said.
In one incident, the man was hiding in the victim's basement when he jumped out and stabbed an officer who was called to the house, police said.
His sentencing is scheduled for August 16, 2013.
