WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A man who killed a NE deli owner was sentenced to 27 years in prison, police said.
Steven Williams, 47, plead guilty to second-degree murder while armed for the death of Hae Soon Lim, police said.
Lim, 64, was found by police on June 14, 2012 on the floor of Grace's Deli in the 700 block of H Street NE, police said.
She died from a single gunshot wound to the back of her neck, police said.
"An empty, brown handgun holster was found on the floor directly next to Ms. Lim's body. DNA from that holster revealed a match to the defendant," police said in a news release.
Williams's DNA was also recovered from an empty cash register in the deli, police said.
