Viewer Gets SmarTrip Cards Fixed with Our Help

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- WUSA 9 gets action for one viewer. 

Last week, we told you about Ken McMillon, a Metro rider from Fairfax, Va. who was getting the run around trying to get his two SmarTrip cards fixed. 

Our reporter Debra Alfarone reached out to WMATA, and Ken called too. 

Finally, we have good news. 

Ken says WMATA waived one of the fees, and now two new cards are on their way.

He sent WUSA9 an email thanking us, "I commend you and your network in advocating for your viewers concerns."
