Councilmember Vincent Orange (dccouncil.washington.dc.us)
WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Sources say federal prosecutors sent subpoenas to DC Councilman Vincent Orange and some Ward 5 businessmen.
According to WUSA 9's Bruce Johnson, a source says prosecutors are looking into Orange's campaign contributions beginning in 2006.
In May, the city's ethics board admonished the concilman for improperly interfering with health officials trying to close a business infested by rats.

The board found Orange had violated the council's code of conduct by asking a health inspector to allow Sam Wang Produce to remain open during an incident in December.
Orange was ordered to attend ethics training. If he completed the ethics training, then Orange would be able to apply in six months to have the admonishment expunged from his record.
