Woman Carjacked At Georgetown Gas Station

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Two suspects is in custody after a frightening carjacking incident at a Georgetown gas station Friday morning.

Metropolitan Police say a woman stopped at the Exxon in the 3600 block of M Street shortly after 1:00 a.m. when she was approached by three suspects. The woman ran from her assailants and took refuge inside the station as the men took off in her Burgundy 2006 Mercedes ML350. The victim was not injured.

MPD officers spotted the suspects and followed them on Clara Barton Parkway where they flipped the Mercedes SUV near Chain Bridge. The parkway was shut down for a few hours while police searched for the suspects. Police are still looking for a third suspect.
