John Comeau Arrested For Va. Carjacking

MARSHALL, Va. (WUSA9) -- The Fauquier County Sheriff's Office says they have arrested 22-year-old John Comeau after carjacking an elderly person on Monday. 

The 74-year-old victim was at a grocery store in Marshall when she was approached by the suspect, deputies said. 

Comeau asked the victim for a ride and was driven to a location in northern Fauquier County, deputies said. 

"Once at this location Comeau told the victim he needed the car, reached over opened the door, un-buckled the victim's seatbelt and forcibly pushed the victim out of the vehicle and drove away," Fauquier County Sheriff's Office said in a release.

Deputies said the victim suffered a minor injury to an ankle. The victim's dog was in the car but was later located in Upperville, Va., just over Loudoun County.
