ASHBURN, Va. (WUSA9) -- Dominion Virginia Power says its crews are working to restore power to hundreds of customers in Ashburn this morning.
Frank Mack, spokesman for the power company, says just under 6000 customers lost power around 3:00 Monday morning. Crews responded to the area and pin-pointed a problem in an underground line in the area of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Gloucester Parkway.
At approximately 6:15 a.m., the Dominion website showed the number of outages was down to 340. At 9:20 a.m. the site showed 286 customers without power.
A supervisor and crew are working to complete the repairs.
