STAFFORD, Va. -- Police have charged a man in Va. with one count of 2nd degree murder and one count of the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Arthur Gonzales, 42, of 59 Alderwood Drive, Stafford. turned himself in at the Sheriff's office today and is currently being held without bond.
The incident took place on April 19 when Gonzales told 9-1-1 operators that he had shot his estranged wife, Julie Serna Gonzalez, after she had allegedly attacked him with a knife during an argument.
Julie Serna Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the hospital from gunshot wounds.
