Assisted-Living Worker Accused Of Stealing Residents' Jewelry, Selling It

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS 19) -- A woman working for a Virginia assisted-living community is facing charges of selling jewelry taken from residents, reports CBS 19.

Albemarle County Police say 51-year-old Wanda Sharell Cousins was charged with grand larceny and eight counts of selling stolen property from Rosewood Village at Hollymead. According to court records, Cousins had been selling the jewelry to pawn shops and jeweler since November 2011.

We are told investigators are still trying to match the jewelry to their original owners.
