Police To Unveil Evidence In Murder Of UMES Student

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Maryland State Police say they will reveal a key piece of evidence in the murder of University of Maryland Eastern Shore student Edmond A. St. Clair.

Twenty-one-year-old St. Clair was stabbed  to death at approximately 9 p.m. on February 16 on the campus in Princess Anne, say police. State police say St. Clair was riding in a vehicle crossing campus when he and two others met several people walking in the street. Some type of altercation ensued and St. Clair was stabbed, say police.

Wednesday, the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit will release a photo of recovered evidence in hopes of receiving more information about the murder or who may have possessed the piece of evidence, say officials.

Police say there is a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the murder.
