Martin Hawkins Jr was killed on April 18, 2012 in La Plata
LA PLATA, Md. (WUSA) -- The Charles County Sheriff's Office has increased the reward in a La Plata homicide to $10,000.
The reward is for the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Martin Hawkins Jr. at the 200 block of Kent Avenue on April 18, 2012.
Officials discovered Hawkins lying on the road after responding to sounds of gunshots in the area, deputies said.
Since the shooting, detectives say there have been neighborhood canvasses and numerous calls, but investigators still need more information to solve this case.
