(WUSA9) -- A tractor trailer spilled flammable liquid at the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway between Brad Boulevard and Thomas Bridge leading to a hazmat incident on Tuesday morning, say Montgomery County officials.
Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham says that the truck's load shifted and a vessel ruptured, leading to the hazmat situation.
Graham says there is one minor injury in the accident and one person was transported to the hospital.
All lanes have opened on I-495 at River Road. but delays go back to I-370, according to traffic officials. The Outer Loop has also reopened between I-270 spur and River Road.
The tractor trailer was moved to a site off the Beltway.
