WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- Tuesday night, a basketball event at Freedom High School in Woodbridge, Va. will also raise money for a fund benefiting the family of an officer killed in the line of duty.
Hoops Fest takes place at 7 p.m. and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Chris Yung family fund. Admission is $10.

Prince William County Officer Chris Yung, a 35-year-old father of three, died in the line of duty December 31, 2012 while responding to a call for an accident. His motorcycle collided with a Dodge Caravan that turned in front of him. The vehicles burst into flames. Yung was taken to a hospital where he died.
