WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The snow is pretty when you look out the window but it could affect your drive. Traffic volume may increase on the interstates as some people decide to drive. Monika Samtani suggests you just stay indoors.
Around 8:30 a.m., she reported that bridges look fine going into the District. Road crews have been out overnight treating major roads and will continue to do so throughout the day.
On I-270 in Rockville, Md. the road was wet and traffic was light.
In College Park at I-95/495 West of Route 1, traffic seemed to be moving okay.
Northbound on I-95 in Springfield, things were looking fine headed onto I-395.
